My Model Airplanes
(Kirt Blattenberger)

As mentioned on many of the pages of this Airplanes and Rockets website, my interests in model aviation has covered a pretty wide variety of aircraft types. Beginning with dime store balsa gliders and rubber-powered airplanes, I eventually moved into Cox .049 powered control line models, then on to Fox .15 and Fox .35 powered control line planes, and finally on to radio control sailplanes and power planes (nitro and electric powered).

I have begun chronicling all of the models that I can recall having had (or currently have) on individual pages. Admittedly, there is really not much to show for 40 years of modeling, but that's the way life went for me; it was always a matter of priorities. Some of the pages thus far are merely titled place holders, but over time they will all include useful information. These pages will include photos and stories of my own, as well as data and relevant photos that I can find from like-minded modelers. Full credit is give for all material that is not original.
